Amber, B.A., has been with B.E.S.T. Consulting, Inc. since 2010. She has a Bachelor's in Psychology and a minor in Music. She has over 6 years of experience working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with both children and adolescents diagnosed with autism and related disorders. She has also spent over 10 years teaching music and language skills to children across a variety of ages developmental levels in the Sacramento area.

Currently, Amber is pursuing a Master's at California State University, Sacramento (CSUS) and would eventually like to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. In addition, she will be conducting research on utilizing the principles of ABA and equivalence relations to better teach music skills to typically developing adults and children as well those diagnosed with autism or other related disorders . Additionally, Amber is also becoming more involved in the field of Organizational Behavior Management (OBM), a sub-discipline of ABA, and hopes to continue to expand her knowledge and experience in that field as well as continue utilizing ABA to help others here at B.E.S.T. Consulting, Inc.

Amber is a member of the Student Association for Applied Behavior Analysis (SAABA) at CSUS, Psi Chi and the Golden Key National Honors Societies. When she is not at school or working, she also enjoys staying active through boxing (not kickboxing), running, and outdoor sports including her recent discovered desire for snowboarding. She also continues to stay as involved in music by playing piano, writing music, teaching piano and voice students on occasion and participating in local jazz and other music events when possible. Other hobbies include photography, sewing and altering new and vintage clothing as well as spending time with her closest friends and family.
