Charisse, B.A., has been with B.E.S.T. Consulting, Inc. since July 2010. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from California University, Davis (UCD).

Charisse has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis field since April 2007. She has worked in various research internships at UCD. Her longest research internship was at the UCD M.I.N.D Institute on a study headed by Sally Rogers comparing the Early Start Denver Model to other treatments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Charisse has worked and volunteered as a mentor in a group home for boys who were abused and neglected, exposing them to positive role models and community experiences. She also volunteered as a peer counselor for women in a domestic violence shelter. In the future, Charisse would like to continue working with children with various disabilities and further her education by getting a Ph.D in hopes of finding more effective ways of teaching. Charisse's other interests include: reading, writing, and photography. Whenever she gets the chance, she likes to get out of the Sacramento area and find new inspiration for her photography or just spend time in a coffee shop reading or writing.
